About the Festival

The Children's Festival is a fun-filled day of exciting events which foster the development of creativity among children in the Kamloops community. Last year's event drew over 5,000 people.

The Children's Festival, sponsored by the Community Arts Council of Kamloops, is jam packed with entertainment, creative workshops and fun or the whole family.

The focus of this year's event, as always, is to provide an opportunity for parents and children to expand their creativity and enjoy a day together.

The Festival this year may include clowns, face painting, story telling, dream catchers, dream boxes, calligraphy, native dancing, paper mache, and painting. These workshops are all geared toward the development of the arts.

If you are interested in running an art workshop or for more information about the Festival, please contact Cindy at the Community Arts Council of Kamloops: 372-7323.
