UCC is both an undergraduate University and a College, together in one place. As a 'university' we currently offer 40 different undergraduate degree options. As a 'college' we have over 50 different Certificate and Diploma programs offering career and job-entry training. However, what makes UCC truly unique is the fact that many of our college programs are now "laddered" into our university degrees. In some cases, Diploma graduates from UCC, and from similar programs at other colleges in Canada, and the U.S., can be given up to two full years of credit, and direct entry into third year of a UCC degree program.

Many recent high school graduates today look to first-year university as the next step in career exploration. At UCC, we offer "The Total Experience" of post-secondary education.

Quite literally, it's possible for students to start in University, enter a College diploma, and then return to complete their University degree - All At The Same Institution! That's a University College.
